Ceigall Northern Ayodhya Bypass Private Limited, a subsidiary company of Ceigall India, has been contracted by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to build the 35.4-kilometer-long Northern Ayodhya Bypass in Uttar Pradesh. The project would be implemented under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM) for an estimated cost of ₹1,199.30 crore.
This infrastructural development is a part of Phase VII of the National Highways Development Project (NHDP) and will alleviate the temple town of Ayodhya of city traffic jams, besides contributing to regional connectivity. The construction commencement date has been officially declared by NHAI as July 9, 2025, under a letter dated July 1, 2025, and also under a joint memorandum dated June 25, 2025, between the authority and concessionaire.

The bypass will be made of four to six lanes, which can be widened in the future. Ceigall will not only build the highway but also maintain it from the date of approved access, ensuring to keep it traffic worthy and safe as per the concession agreement.
NHAI stressed the maintenance and safety of the highway adequately during the concession period. This step reflects the commitment of NHAI towards creating quality, future-proof road infrastructure in the country.
