Hyundai Motor India is preparing to launch a localised mass-market SUV on a dedicated EV platform as it expands its electric mobility footprint.
The company is strengthening its sales and service network ahead of the launch, targeting 820 EV-ready touchpoints and 650 workshops by FY27. It also plans to train more than 12,000 additional sales and service personnel to support EV adoption and customer care.

Hero Motors will open its ₹1,000-crore IPO on September 16, with a price band of ₹79–₹84 per share. The offering includes fresh shares worth up to ₹600 crore and an offer for sale of ₹400 crore.
The company plans to use the proceeds to reduce debt and purchase equipment for expanding its Uttar Pradesh facility. Hero Motors supplies global customers including BMW and Ducati.
Juniper Green Energy has fully commissioned a 75 MW wind-solar hybrid project in Maharashtra after completing the final 10 MW of wind capacity on September 9, 2026.
The commissioning was witnessed by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company officials, with the formal certificate expected shortly.
Following the project’s commissioning, Juniper Green Energy and its subsidiaries have an aggregate operational capacity of around 2,604 MWp along with 500 MWh of battery energy storage capacity.
India and Thailand are advancing the review of the ASEAN-India Trade in Goods Agreement while seeking deeper bilateral trade and investment engagement. India wants the pact to become more user-friendly and trade-facilitative for businesses.

Larsen & Toubro has secured a large offshore order from ONGC for the Additional Development of RatnaI and NLM-14 projects off India’s west coast.

L&T classifies large orders as those valued between ₹2,500 crore and ₹5,000 crore.
Adani Group and Abu Dhabi-based International Holding Company have signed agreements with Odisha to explore 14 projects involving an estimated ₹2.1 lakh crore investment.
The proposals span AI data centres, coal-to-chemicals, renewable energy equipment, critical minerals, shipbuilding, healthcare and food processing.
The projects are expected to create nearly 189,700 direct on-site jobs, while strengthening Odisha’s manufacturing, mineral processing and port-led industrial ecosystem.
