In a major boost to the electronics ambitions of Andhra Pradesh in a significant way, the state government has consented to the absolutely largest Printed Circuit Board (PCB) producing plant of India in the Menakuru village of Naidupeta, to be established by Syrma Strategic Electronics (SSEPL).
The venture, which is the inaugural one under the state’s recently unveiled Electronics Components Manufacturing and Supply (ECMS) Policy (2025-30), will bring about an investment of ₹1,076 crore in the field of PCB manufacturing along with an R&D unit, and will create 1,011 new jobs. In addition, SSEPL will enjoy "early-bird" incentives including a 75 percent subsidised land cost for 12.56 acres allotment by APIIC, subject to approval from MeitY.
By the given facility are expected single, multilayer, HDI, and flexible PCBs, these are the parts used in consumer electronics, automotive, telecom, and renewable energy sectors. As per the confirmation of information from officials, the establishment will be helpful in reducing the country’s import of PCBs which is the main reason for the gap in the electronic value chain.
