
Ampere has rolled out the Ampere Magnus G Max electric scooter today in India, targeting families who want a simple and reliable EV for daily use.
Introduced as Greaves Electric Mobility, the new scooter occupies the sub-1 lakh segment and concentrates on the range, safety, and storage. It costs INR 94,999 in an initial amount to target consumers who are thinking about a gradual transition to electric mobility.
The Magnus G Max also provides a realistic riding range of more than 100km in Eco mode thus suitable in the daily commuting. The scooter is powered by a 3 kWh LFP battery, which has a reputation of being in control of heat and a long life. Ampere is also offering the convenience of a 5 years or 75000km battery warranty, a good plus when owning an item over a long period.

The scooter was designed to suit Indian roads and has a robust two-frame structure, 165 mm clearance on the ground and a top speed of 65 kmph. The hub motor provides 1.5 kW nominal and 2.4 kW peak power, complemented by Eco, City, and Reverse to ease traffic and fine parking areas.
The most significant temperature attracting the Ampere Magnus G Max electric scooter is the 33-liter under-seat storage that is big enough to carry groceries, helmets, or everyday bags. Prices range between 20 and 80 percent and it is typically a procedure that can be done in 4.5 hours and that is not a significant burden of daily life.
The scooter is available in Monsoon Blue, Matcha Green and Cinnamon Copper, it has LED lights, a 3.5-inch LCD screen with USB charging and comfortable suspension. Having a vast network of services and years of EV experience, Ampere plans to make the electric riding workable in the Indian households.
