The 16th Agrovision Expo concluded today after four packed days at the RTMNU campus on Amravati Road.
The event, held from November 21 to November 24, drew farmers, agri-experts, industry leaders and students from across Central India.
The theme of the year remained to be sustainable farming, alternate fuels and intelligent technology to the country economy. On Sunday, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis visited the expo and published two coffee-table books, one of them a record of a decade of the work of the Agrovision Foundation.
He was also the initiator of a book on the orange industry in Vidarbha and he made time to visit the big exhibits throughout the grounds. Another main attraction of the year was the introduction of the new CNG/CBG tractor which can operate on natural gas and biogas introduced by Sonalika.

The model is equipped with dual tank system and heavy-duty powertrain to lower fuel expenses of farmers and to facilitate the continued biofuel programmes. The unveiling was attended by Union Ministers, Nitin Gadkari and Shivraj Singh Chouhan, thus showing the relevance of cleaner transport in the farm industry. Another company that attracted headlines was Mahindra that had their display of alternate-fuel technologies.
The company demonstrated a CNG/CBG tractor which is made on the basis of Yuvo Tech+, an ethanol flex-fuel engine that could work with a spectrum of farm-based fuels, and an electric tractor designed orchestrated through the international OJA system. These machines are designed at Mahindra research valley, Chennai which highlights how the company is striving to attain low-emission agriculture and long-term affordability to the farmers. As a result of high attendance and an increased interest in renewable energy and precision tools, Agrovision 2025 became one of the most future-oriented versions of the expo.
