Prime Minister Narendra Modi quoting the country’s political stability, economic strength, and rapid growth trajectory, propounded India as the appropriate partner for Japan in the areas of manufacturing, technology, innovation, green energy, and skill development.
Addressing the India-Japan Economic Forum in Tokyo, PM Modi stated that India was not only being watched by the world but was also being turned to more and more as it moved nearer to its goal of third-largest global economy. “Capital does not just grow in India, it multiplies. The growth and transformation of India in the last 11 years are known to all of you,” he added.
PM Modi listed "political stability, economic stability, policy transparency, and predictability" as the factors that had made India the fastest-growing large economy in the world, pointing to their linkages with the country’s electoral democracy.

Earlier today Modi arrived at the Toky where he was greeted with traditional and enthusiastic welcome by the Indian community. The visit which won by the 15th India-Japan Annual Summit, will be the first bilateral meeting which the PM Modi will have with the Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba.
The conversation are expected to concentrate on Dr. Manmohan Singh’s concerns regarding the India-Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership’s areas of defence, security, trade, digital technology, climate action, and innovation, such as by promoting his visits to Japan, PM Modi will head to China to attend the 25th SCO Council of Heads of State summit.
