New CPO Geetika Mishra steps in to power Spark Minda’s materials strategy and strengthens the auto-component major’s procurement backbone.
Spark Minda appoints Geetika Mishra as Chief Procurement Officer at its Group Corporate Office, expanding her mandate across Group Materials, sourcing strategy, supplier ecosystems, cost competitiveness, electronics, process automation and capability building.
Mishra brings more than 18 years of experience from Motherson Group, where she handled complex responsibilities across businesses, geographies and teams.
She now focuses first on listening and learning before driving change, positioning herself to translate organizational strengths into measurable outcomes for Spark Minda’s automotive supply chain.
Mishra’s role spans several critical areas of the automotive supply chain. She will oversee sourcing strategy, supplier development, cost competitiveness and materials management.
Mishra states that her initial priority is to understand the organization, its people and its priorities. “I want to spend time listening and learning,” she says. She plans to meet teams, gather different perspectives and learn from people closest to the business.
This approach, she notes, will help her identify existing strengths, surface challenges and pinpoint clear opportunities for improvement.
At Spark Minda she intends to work closely with teams to convert those opportunities into measurable business outcomes. The emphasis on listening before acting signals a deliberate, collaborative style rather than top-down disruption.
Mishra joins after more than 18 years with Motherson Group. During that period, she worked across multiple businesses, geographies and teams while taking on progressively complex responsibilities. She describes Motherson as a significant part of her professional life and expresses gratitude to the people who shaped her experience there.
By appointing Mishra as Chief Procurement Officer, Spark Minda reinforces its materials and sourcing leadership at the Group Corporate Office. Her mandate covers the full spectrum from strategic sourcing to operational capability building.
As the auto component sector navigates cost pressures, localization demands and technology shifts, her focus on cost competitiveness, supplier ecosystems and process automation positions the company to respond with greater agility and discipline.
