Indian luxury jewelry house Unialmaz, known for its century-long heritage in fine diamond jewelry and its presence at leading international exhibitions including JCK Las Vegas, the Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition in Qatar, and high jewelry showcases across the Gulf, has announced a collaboration with New York–based jewelry designer Valentyna Zhytnyk.
The project brings together Unialmaz’s manufacturing excellence and legacy craftsmanship with Valentyna Zhytnyk’s independent design vision and engineering-driven approach, creating a dialogue between Indian tradition and contemporary European aesthetics.

Valentyna Zhytnyk is a New York– based jewelry designer, gemologist, and visual artist, as well as the author of the Art of Gems project. She is the founder of the fine jewelry brand L’Impératrice and has built a strong reputation for combining artistic direction with technical execution.
Her professional background includes experience at Tiffany & Co., as well as exposure to high jewelry standards shaped by Harry Winston in New York. Her work has been exhibited in California, and she has been recognized as part of the Ukrainian creative community at the United Nations. This collaboration with Unialmaz was executed independently by Valentyna Zhytnyk as a solo designer.
The collaboration resulted in the creation of a high jewelry necklace featuring close to 100 carats of natural diamonds, complemented by emerald accents and set in 18K white gold.
Valentyna Zhytnyk introduced an engineering-focused approach that refined the piece through precise stone setting, balanced weight distribution, and advanced structural design.
The partnership reflects a synergy between heritage and innovation, positioning Indian luxury jewelry house Unialmaz within a broader international design context. With a long-standing reputation and global clientele, the house continues to evolve through collaborations that bring fresh perspective while preserving its identity.
Within this project, Valentyna Zhytnyk engages with the language of Indian high jewelry while introducing a modern, globally oriented perspective. The result is a piece created for an international audience of collectors and connoisseurs.
