Oil & Gas in a Net-Zero World
The oil and gas sector of India stands at a critical juncture as the nation strives to reach net-zero emissions by 2070 while meeting the increased energy demand. The country has more than 85 percent dependence on imported crude oil alongside 50 percent dependence on imported natural gas while energy security represents a paramount national objective. The government together with industry players is making investments to develop alternative fuels and technologies that capture carbon and produce hydrogen in order to meet sustainability targets. Future development in the sector remains influenced by challenges including high transition expenses, infrastructure limitations, and complicated regulatory systems.
The challenges however will not prevent substantial innovation projects and investment opportunities from emerging. The marketplace for cleaner fuels that includes bio-CNG, green hydrogen, and LNG has established fresh development paths. The National Green Hydrogen Mission together with growing carbon neutrality commitments from different sectors serve as drivers for industrial change. Companies are actively pursuing carbon capture and storage (CCS) solutions along with energy efficiency methods to achieve operational decarbonization.
This webinar will deliver comprehensive insights about India's oil and gas realm within the context of net-zero operations. Experts from the industry will examine current market trends alongside policy structures and technological developments which participants can use to understand future changes and plan for sustainable business expansion.
