Schneider Electric has unveiled a new cooperation with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) through offering advanced technology for automation at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC SHAR) in Sriharikota.
This cooperation, announced today, will facilitate end-to-end operations for satellite and launch vehicle missions to further Schneider Electric’s trusted technology partner status in India's odyssey in space.
"India's space journey is a symbol of innovation, resilience, and global leadership-and we at Schneider Electric are honoured to be a part of this remarkable mission," said Deepak Sharma, Zone President, Greater India, MD & CEO, Schneider Electric India.

The company stated that it has already installed several automation systems on mission-critical applications at SDSC SHAR. This is a development of Schneider Electric's 15-year-long strategic alliance with ISRO, during which its technology has had paramount impact on key projects such as Chandrayaan-3 and GSLV-F16. With augmented operational reliability provided by the solutions, ISRO will benefit from operational efficiencies that will support future missions for India’s expanding space programme.
ISRO has been steadily building its resume with notable milestones like the Mars Orbiter Mission and its Chandrayaan programme to the Moon. As ISRO focuses on an increased number of satellite launches and deep space plans, the organization is looking to deepen its ecosystem of partnerships. Schneider Electric’s best-in-class automation systems will enable ISRO not only to improve efficiencies, but also give them the ability to scale to the future requirements of India's space ambitions.
This latest partnership exemplifies how industry leaders are aligning with ISRO to bolster India's growing status in the international space economy.
