Power Mech Projects shares moved higher after the company announced a major clean energy order through its wholly owned subsidiary, PM Green. One of the most important aspects of the project is the fact that WBSEDCL will offer a 100 percent off-take guarantee, which will guarantee that PM Green can rely on the high level of consistent and predictable revenue in the long run. Besides, the contract also contains a greenshoe provision of another 250 MW / 1,000 MWh BESS in the Durgapur Project campus in Durgapur, West Bengal, which may increase the size of the project under the same condition that it is exercised.
The recent acquisition helps to further position Power Mech Projects as a force in the sector of energy storage, and it fits into the trend of India moving toward grid-scale storage. The recent financial performance of the company contributes to the confidence of investors as the consolidated net profit increased 11.70 percent annually to Rs 74.92 crore in the Q2 FY26. Operation revenues also improved significantly as the increase was 19.54% on year-on-year basis to Rs 1,237.87 crore in the quarter to September 30, 2025.
