Gulf Oil Lubricants India Strengthens OEM Ties in Construction

Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd today announced new strategic partnerships with leading construction equipment makers Action Construction Equipment (ACE), Ammann India, and XCMG, strengthening its push into India’s fast-growing infrastructure and construction segment.

As part of the partnership with Ammann India, one of the leading manufacturers of road construction equipment in the country, Gulf oil lubricants India Ltd will be the official partner of Ammann in its entire equipment line.

This agreement includes supplying the high-performance products within the Ammann Genuine Oil brand, which is created on the basis of increasing equipment life, downtime reduction and increasing the overall operation efficiency.

Another way the two companies will collaborate is by co-developing special lubricant formulation of next generation and advanced machinery. These are products that suit the needs of Indian operating conditions and assist contractors and infrastructure developers in working on high intensive projects.

Commenting on the development, Ravi Chawla, Managing Director & CEO, Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd, noted that infrastructure has been a strategic focus area for over 15 years, and these partnerships reinforce Gulf’s long-term commitment to supporting India’s infrastructure growth.

Gulf has made another significant step of collaborating with XCMG, the world leader in construction equipment, in an effort to introduce XCMG branded genuine lubricants in India. The company has also extended the long-time relationship with Action Construction Equipment (ACE) by expanding the ACE Genuine Oil line of the crane, backhoe loaders, compactors, graders, forklifts, tractors, and harvesters.

These partnerships also enhance the portfolio of OEM-approved lubricants by Gulf so that the customers can enjoy reliability of the equipment that is used and the equipment has increased life span and reduces the overall cost of ownership. Gulf now operates with over 50 OEMs in the automotive, industrial and construction market segments with well-established on-ground technical and application knowledge.
