Ashok Leyland is stepping up its presence in Maharashtra and the wider Western region as demand for light commercial vehicles (LCVs) continues to grow.
The company’s expansion comes at a time when the region is seeing steady economic momentum, ongoing infrastructure projects, and rising transport needs across industries.
The Hinduja Group’s flagship commercial vehicle maker currently operates its LCV business in Western India through 29 dealers, 130 service workshops, and more than 350 trained technicians. This network ensures service support is available roughly every 35 km. Over the next year, Ashok Leyland plans to strengthen this footprint further, aiming to make assistance accessible within 25 km for customers.
