The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has issued letters of intent to three major technology companies—Ascent-K Circuit, Aurionpro Toshi Automatic, and another unnamed firm—for establishing manufacturing units on 120 acres near the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar. This landmark development, involving an investment of Rs 4,000 crore, is set to transform Noida into a burgeoning hub for electronics manufacturing in northern India.
The spot is perfect. The new airport, which will handle 50 lakh passengers a year, is a huge draw. Plus, with projects like the Bhangel Elevated Road and the DND–Faridabad–Ballabhgarh Bypass Link Road, getting to Delhi, Haryana, and other nearby areas is a breeze. It’s no wonder tech companies are flocking here!
Ascent-K Circuit and Aurionpro Toshi Automatic are spearheading this effort, focusing on high-tech electronics. The third company’s name is still hush-hush, but word on the street is it’s a major tech heavyweight. These new factories are expected to create thousands of jobs, giving a big lift to the local economy and helping India chase its dream of being a global manufacturing leader by 2047.
The Uttar Pradesh government has been all in, with Invest UP working hard to seal the deal with these companies. This isn’t their first rodeo— they’ve already helped land projects like the HCL-Foxconn venture, Vama Sundari, which is building a semiconductor plant in Greater Noida. Locals are pumped, with folks on X saying things like, “Noida’s about to take over the tech game!”
