According to a senior company official, PSAV Global, the brand partner of the Chinese smartphone company Honor, is in negotiations with electronic manufacturing services firms to start producing Honor handsets in India in November.
CP Khandelwal, Co-founder and CEO of PSAV Global told PTI that the group plans to achieve a 1% market share in the first year of launching with the Honor smartphones 'Made in India', which would lead to revenue of around Rs 2,500 crore. "After CKD (complete knocked down) manufacturing begins, our first-year target is to achieve approximately 1 per cent market share, which translates to around Rs 2,500 crore in revenue.
This target will be achieved within the first year of manufacturing operations, from November 2025 to November 2026," he said.

As per the Counterpoint Research report of global mobile phone supply in the first quarter of 2025, in addition to the top 5 brands, Honor was listed among the top growing brands and a serious competitor globally. According to the report, Huawei was the biggest OEM in China in Q1, while Honor and Motorola grew significantly in multiple markets. In India, Honor Tech's official brand partner is PSAV.
It was formerly a part of Huawei, a massive Chinese telecom equipment company. Khandelwal stated that the company has been approved for four models following initial delays from the Bureau of India Standards. Honor X9c and Honor X7c were released earlier this month.
