
Bondada Engineering has secured an Rs 816 crore solar EPC order from NTPC Green Energy Ltd. for a 600 MW solar photovoltaic project in Fatehgarh, Rajasthan, strengthening the company’s presence in India’s fast-growing renewable energy sector.
The project has been awarded under the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) model and includes Balance of System (BOS) works along with three years of operations and maintenance services.
The contract is expected to be completed within 16 months from the date of award. According to the company, the project has been divided into two phases, Block-1 and Block-3, with each block carrying a capacity of 300 MW. The latest order further expands Bondada Engineering’s growing portfolio in the solar power segment and adds significant value to its renewable energy order book.

The company said the new contract reflects NTPC Green Energy’s continued trust in its execution capabilities and project delivery standards. With this deal, Bondada Engineering’s cumulative order inflow from NTPC Group companies has crossed Rs 1,200 crore.
The order also boosts the company’s overall solar EPC order book to nearly 5.3 GWp, highlighting its increasing role in large-scale clean energy infrastructure projects across the country.
India’s renewable energy sector has seen strong momentum in recent years as the government pushes for higher solar power capacity and cleaner energy adoption. Large utility-scale projects such as the Fatehgarh solar development are expected to play a key role in meeting the country’s long-term green energy targets.
