For its forthcoming green ammonia manufacturing project, which is a component of the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) Scheme – Mode-2A, Tranche-I, ACME Group has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd (SECI). This is an important step in the nation's drive for clean energy alternatives.
According to the LoA, ACME will provide 75,000 metric tons of green ammonia to Paradeep Phosphates Ltd., a significant participant in the fertilizer and chemical industry in India, over a ten-year term. The company's manufacturing facility in Paradeep, Odisha, will receive the delivery of the green ammonia. The project was won in a competitive bidding process by group subsidiary ACME Cleantech Solutions, which took part in the reverse auction held by SECI on July 29, 2025.
Green ammonia will be supplied at the delivery location at the agreed-upon price of ₹55.75 per kilogram. With the project win, ACME is now one of the leading companies in India's shift to low-carbon industrial inputs, especially in the fertilizer industry.
“This Letter of Award under the SIGHT Scheme is a significant achievement in our clean energy journey,” said Anil Kumar Taparia, Chief Operating Officer, Green Hydrogen & Ammonia Division, ACME Group.
