GE Aerospace plans to invest $14 million to increase the production capacity of its manufacturing plant in Pune, bringing the total investment declared in less than two years for the decade-old facility to $44 million.
The parts produced at the facility are utilized for GE90, GEnx, GE9X, and LEAP engines. CFM, a joint venture equally owned by GE and Safran, produces the LEAP engines. In a statement on Thursday (November 20, 2025), the company revealed its plans to invest $14 million in the Pune manufacturing facility, noting that this investment is in addition to the $30 million disclosed last year.

In a statement on Thursday (November 20, 2025), the company revealed plans to invest $14 million in its Pune manufacturing plant and noted that this investment builds upon the $30 million announced the previous year. “The new investment will strengthen the site’s capabilities through upgraded manufacturing processes and automation, including enhancements that support advanced engine components,” the release said.
At the existing exchange rate, a $14 million investment amounts to approximately ₹124 crore. The Pune facility is supported by a network of over 300 suppliers, while GE Aerospace has more than 2,200 suppliers throughout India.
