Rajasthan is moving toward green mobility for the future with the first electric bus manufacturing plant at Ghiloth Industrial Area in Neemrana tehsil, Kotputli-Behror district.
The state government, through RIICO, has a quickly allotted 65.56 acres (265329 sq. metres) of land to the project after an MOA signed at Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit. PMI Electro Mobility Solutions Pvt. Ltd. will establish the plant with an estimate ₹1,200 crore investment.
The plant will produce e-buses and bus bodies, electric motors, batteries, wire harnesses, and other key components and make Rajasthan a growing centre in India’s electric vehicle ecosystem. A PMI delegation visited Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Tuesday to thank him for the fast land approval.

The Chief Minister reiterated his government’s commitment to industry, employment and infrastructure growth, calling the project a major step in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ program. "This initiative will enhance Rajasthan's role as a leading hub for electric vehicle manufacturing in India," said CM Sharma. “This plant will provide training to the youth of the state with various training related to electromobility technologies and skill development in this rapidly expanding area."
Officials noted that the electric bus manufacturing plant had ushered in a new era of green public transportation for Rajasthan by promoting clean energy and sustainable mobility. The facility will support the nationwide supply of e-buses at affordable rates, reduce emissions and lead to Rajasthan's green industrial revolution when established.
