ABB has installed smart electrification and water management automation systems at the Noida International Airport, which is set to start operations in April 2026. The airport is designed to handle 12 million passenger movements in the initial phase but is planned to be expanded to handle 70 million passenger movements every year.
The airport requires advanced infrastructure to support the operations required for the smooth functioning of the airport. The infrastructure requires the implementation of advanced electrification and automation systems to support the operations required for the airport.
ABB has provided the airport with an extensive power distribution system required for the smooth functioning of the airport. The system includes the implementation of 33kV gas-insulated switchgear, which is required for the efficient transmission of power from the main substation. The system also includes the implementation of low-voltage panels with distribution boards required to provide the required power supply for the smooth functioning of the airport.
