
Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited (ARE&M), a comprehensive solutions provider in the Energy & Mobility space, announced the appointment of Narayan Choudhary as Chief Operations Officer.
In this role, Narayan will lead the company’s manufacturing and operational strategies, driving excellence, efficiency, and future‑focused transformation across all business verticals. He will also be a part of the group’s executive committee.
He succeeds C. Narasimhulu Naidu, who retires after over 30 years of distinguished service and leadership within the operations function at ARE&M.

With close to three decades of experience, Narayan has built a strong track record in large‑scale transformation programs across the automotive and industrial sectors. His expertise spans greenfield project development, new technology introduction, supply chain systems, quality frameworks, and people management. Prior to joining ARE&M, he served as Chief Executive Officer and Business Head at Taco Punch Powertrain.
