The Automobile Tyre Manufacturers Association (ATMA) has re-elected Arun Mammen, Vice Chairman and Managing Director at MRF Ltd, as its Chairman. The association is seen as having made a great milestone when it announced this decision on Monday.
Along with the re-election of Mammen, the association has also elected Rajarshi Moitra, the new Vice Chairman of ATMA, who is also the Managing Director of Bridgestone India Pvt Ltd. Such changes in leadership are to build a strong industry body as it tries to overcome the changing environment of the automotive tyre industry.
Moreover, ATMA has promoted Sanjay Chatterjee, the Assistant Director General of the association to the post of Director General. This is an appointment where the current Director General, Rajiv Budhraja, will retire on March 31, 2026.
