India and South Korea plan to grow their big plan, now with more focus on high-tech areas like chips, smart tech, clean power, ship-making, and safety. They set this plan after talks in New Delhi on August 16, with S. Jaishankar from India and his South Korean friend, Cho Hyun.
The Ministry of External Affairs, S. Jaishankar, said both sides looked at how well they are doing in places like politics, safety, trade, tech, and bonds between people. The ministers stressed how key it is to push into new, key areas to match the changing world of industries.
Jaishankar called the talks “good,” noting both countries also shared ideas on the Indo-Pacific and big, world issues. He said thanks to Seoul for not liking the April 22 Pahalgam bad act and for backing an Indian group after Operation Sindoor.

The talk marks ten years of their "Big and Key Plan." Both sides said again they will stick to shared aims of free ways, trust, and area safety, and will push to work more in sectors thinking ahead.
The meeting showed growing ties between India and South Korea at a time when both are trying to get better at tech, expand how they think, and be stronger in safety. With a joint focus on new tech, this tie-up is set to deeply shape money and big plans in the Indo-Pacific area.
