At the 66th meeting of the State High-Level Clearance Committee held in Bengaluru on Friday, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah approved 13 investment proposals worth a total of ₹27,607.26 crore, officials announced.
According to the officials, these projects are expected to create around 8,704 direct employment opportunities. Large and Medium Industries Minister M. B. Patil stated that the approvals comprise 11 new investment proposals and two expansion projects.
"The expansion accounts for Rs 378.75 crore, while the new initiatives require an investment of Rs 27,228.51 crore," he added in an official statement.

JSW JFE Electrical Steel Private Limited: Rs 7,102 crore (900 jobs); HSS Textile Private Limited: Rs 740 crore (800 jobs); SFX India Mfg Private Limited: Rs 9,298 crore (806 jobs); Vayu Assets Private Limited: Rs 1,251 crore (1,912 jobs); Tejas Networks Limited: Rs 542.19 crore (1,312 jobs); Reliance Consumer Products Limited: Rs 1,622 crore (1,200 jobs), the statement said.
The statement further highlighted that two companies have submitted fresh investment proposals to the State High-Level Clearance Committee.
Embassy Industrial Park has proposed a project worth ₹80 crore, while Balaji Wafers Private Limited has submitted a proposal amounting to ₹298.75 crore. Together, these new initiatives represent a total investment of ₹378.75 crore. Officials noted that these projects are expected to contribute to the state’s industrial growth and generate employment opportunities, reflecting continued investor confidence in the region’s business environment.
