Gurgaon Metro Advances on Schedule

Officials report that the Rs 5,452.7-crore Gurgaon Metro project proceeds as planned. The line will connect Millennium City Centre with Cyber City and extend further to the Dwarka Expressway.
Authorities obtain work permits for government land and initiate site work.

This metro corridor will ease movement inside Gurugram and link the city more tightly to the national capital region. Faster urban mobility directly supports industrial and commercial growth in one of India’s most important economic zones.

Hisar Manufacturing Cluster Clears Critical Hurdles

The Rs 4,679-crore Integrated Manufacturing Cluster at Hisar removes major obstacles. The government now controls all required land and secures environmental clearance. Officials evaluate ten bids under the Rs 707-crore engineering, procurement and construction tender.

Once operational, the cluster will offer modern industrial infrastructure and attract large-scale manufacturing investment. Hisar therefore emerges as a new growth node beyond the traditional National Capital Region belt.

AIIMS Majra and Logistics Hub Move Forward

Progress on the Rs 1,646.4-crore AIIMS Majra project in Rewari also advances. The Rewari deputy commissioner confirms technical sanction of Rs 236 crore for road and rail-over-bridge connectivity. These links will improve access for patients, staff and medical supplies.

At the same time, the Integrated Multi-Modal Logistics Hub at Nangal Chaudhary gains momentum.
Phase I covers 408 acres. Authorities transfer land to the special purpose vehicle, complete external connectivity and finish the internal rail yard.

The concessionaire request-for-proposal process remains underway. Strong logistics capacity will reduce transportation costs and strengthen Haryana’s position in national supply chains.

Power and Freight Corridor Support the Push

The meeting also reviews power transmission projects and works linked to the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor. Reliable power and efficient freight movement form essential foundations for any manufacturing hub.
