Gujarat’s clean‑energy landscape made a big leap on 18 Dec 2025 when INOXGFL opened new solar and wind factories near Ahmedabad. These facilities are considered as one of the largest renewable-energy production sites of the year, which will facilitate the energy transition in the country.
The company unveiled a 3GW solar-module facility and a 1.2GW wind turbine facility. The new facilities add new energy to the national renewable production, and drive the transition of India to cleaner energy to the next gear.
The 3GW solar-module plant in Bavla cost 400 crores and it has the state of the art automated automation. It will manufacture next generation N-type TOPCon bi-facial modules which will enhance efficiency by absorbing sunlight on both sides of the panels.

Kalyangarh (1.2GW) wind-manufacturing factory focuses on nacelles and hubs- the fundamental components of wind turbines. The facility will be constructed to international standards to satisfy the needs of the existing 3 MW turbines as well as future 4 X MW models, increasing the wind-power capacity in India.
According to Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, the opening of these show a great deal of dedication to clean energy, innovation and industrial development on the part of the state. He complemented this by saying that the projects will provide over 2,000 jobs that will entrench the image of Gujarat as a manufacturing center of renewable-energy.
The leaders of INOXGFL make rather ambitious goals: the group is to reach the 11GW of solar-module capacity and 8GW of cell capacity by FY27. The goals are also meant to propel a major growth in revenues, enhance the energy security of India and also increase the renewable manufacture base of the country.
