PepsiCo India launches an ‘EV Green Corridor’ on the Kosi-Pataudi route with electric container trucks, expanding its green logistics network to reduce emissions and support sustainability.
Developed in collaboration with Kalyani Powertrain Ltd, an arm of Bharat Forge Ltd, the corridor will operate with eight 32-foot single-axle Re-Powered electric container trucks. This initiative is designed to cover approximately 4.8 lakh electric kilometres annually, significantly cutting emissions along the route.
As part of its sustainability efforts, PepsiCo India has also converted more than 400 distributor-linked vehicles to electric three and four-wheelers across multiple markets. The company has deployed over 80 CNG vehicles in the National Capital Region (NCR) through logistics partners, further supporting its strategy to reduce the environmental footprint of urban logistics.
