ChatGPT Go was built as a direct response to user demand for cheaper entry into ChatGPT's most feature-rich capabilities and rolled out in August. In the course of the first month from its introduction, the number of Indian paid subscribers for ChatGPT doubled more than twice. Riding on this demand, OpenAI has since then taken ChatGPT Go to close to 90 countries globally.
