JSW Motors Limited, the new energy vehicle (NEV) arm of the JSW Group, has taken a big step to build talent ahead of its greenfield EV plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.
The company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Tata Indian Institute of Skills (Tata IIS) to co-create a structured technical pipeline that matches real manufacturing needs. This JSW Motors NEV Partnership aims to shape a workforce ready from Day One as operations begin.
Under the collaboration, JSW Motors and Tata IIS will design a tailored curriculum for advanced EV manufacturing. Training will focus on EV systems, automation, welding, CNC operations, battery technologies and next‑generation manufacturing processes. JSW Motors will hold full hiring control and retain the right to validate the curriculum, ensuring the skills taught stay aligned with its evolving production requirements.
