Flomic Global Logistics has completed the international transportation of heavy machinery from India to Nigeria for a major steel melting plant project, reinforcing its capabilities in handling complex project cargo and specialized global logistics operations.
The shipment supported the development of a 500 tonnes-per-day Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) plant, which forms part of a full steel production line.
The cargo moved under CIF delivery terms from Mumbai Port in India to Lagos, Nigeria. This large-scale operation involved transporting critical machinery and installation components needed to establish the steel melting facility.
In total, the shipment included 115 cargo packages with a combined gross weight of 850,595 kilograms and a total volume of 1,120.902 cubic meters. The equipment, valued at around USD 3.04 million, required careful handling due to its size, weight, and role in the plant’s production infrastructure.
