Emerson, a leading industrial technology and automation company has collaborated with Tata Technologies, a leading product engineering and digital services firm. Together, they will attempt to create leading-edge testing and validation solutions related to the automotive, aerospace, and commercial vehicle industries. The partnership is meant to combat the increasing complexities of software-defined, connected, electric and autonomous vehicles, providing innovative platforms to speed up the product development and save costs.
This collaboration will respectively integrate capabilities of Emerson in advanced test and measurement with the rich domain expertise of Tata Technologies in the complexities of systems engineering, electrical/electronic architectures and mobility platforms. They will collaborate to build cost-effective, smart and scalable validation systems to enable original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) deliver competitive products quicker. The program is aimed at improving the quality of testing to make mobility in the next generation, such that manufacturers can be able to cope with the changes in the transportation industry.

Initial outcomes of pilot projects demonstrate that this cooperation can change mobility solutions leading to faster design cycles and more accurate testing.
