Ashwini Vaishnaw, Minister of Railways will be the one to start the 16th International Railway Equipment Exhibition (IREE), which is from October 15 to 17, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, had been informed by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
CII through IREE, a triennial exhibition, celebrates the Indian Railways technological abilities and its aspirations to be one of the top global leaders in railway technology. IREE, CII's flagship exhibition running since 1990, is organized along with the Ministry of Railways.
As per the CII, the forthcoming edition is touted to be the biggest of all times with more than 450 exhibitors from over 15 countries. The participants of the event will display their latest and most advanced technologies, solutions and services for rail and metro sectors besides their products.
Indian Railways will have a very strong representation and there will also be several technology leaders of the world from whom the intelligent urban rail and metro solutions summit will be gaining a vast knowledge base and get several opportunities to form business relations and collaboratively develop future-ready solution.

Among the many exhibits and conferences worldwide, IREE is considered the largest show in Asia and the second largest in the world, where the transportation and railway industries are the main focus. The 2025 edition will be featuring 30,000+ products for railways and raising the prospects of modernization, sustainability, and private sector participation.
Chairman of the CII Trade Fair Council, B. Thiagarajan, said that the Mission of IREE 2025 should be to spark the innovation needed for pivotal collaborations and, in turn, fast-track India's ambitious plan for the renewal of the rail sector.
