ASMS-UAL Biotech Partnership Targets Smarter Rural Farming

Avio Smart Market Stack Limited (ASMS) has entered into a strategic ASMS-UAL Biotech partnership with UAL Biotech to transform farming practices across rural India.

The collaboration focuses on building a more sustainable, technology-driven agricultural ecosystem while improving farmer productivity and income at scale.

Through this ASMS-UAL Biotech partnership, the companies aim to introduce eco-friendly biological inputs as an alternative to traditional chemical-heavy farming.

The initiative will promote regenerative agriculture practices designed to enhance soil health, reduce environmental impact, and ensure long-term crop sustainability. ASMS brings to the table its extensive rural digital infrastructure, which already connects over 5,000 villages and reaches nearly 40 million farmers.

This network will be used to deliver advanced farming solutions, real-time advisory services, and training programs directly to farmers on the ground. UAL Biotech will contribute its expertise in biological crop solutions to help reduce dependency on synthetic fertilizers and pesticides.

The partnership will initially roll out pilot programs in select regions to test effectiveness before scaling operations nationwide. These pilot projects will focus on improving yield quality, optimizing resource usage, and strengthening supply chain transparency.

A key part of the initiative is farmer education. The companies plan to conduct on-ground training sessions to help farmers adopt new methods with confidence. Digital tools will also play a major role, enabling data-driven decisions around crop cycles, irrigation, and input usage.

By combining technology, biology, and grassroots engagement, this collaboration aims to address some of Indian agriculture’s biggest challenges, including declining soil health and low farmer income. If executed effectively, the model could redefine how sustainable farming is implemented across the country.
