Simplex Castings Limited has secured a INR 7.26 crore order from BHEL for the supply of fabricated and machined assemblies for an 803 HP mill, marking another step in the company’s long-standing partnership with the public sector engineering major.
The precision metallurgy company, Simplex Castings, said the order from Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Varanasi involves the manufacturing and supply of key assemblies required for the mill. The contract includes ten units each of the Mill Side and Liner Assembly, the Separator Body Assembly, and the Separator Top for the 803 HP mill.
All components will be delivered as fully fabricated and machined units and produced strictly according to drawings and technical specifications provided by BHEL. The total value of the contract stands at INR 7,25,72,500.

The new BHEL order strengthens the long-standing association between the two companies in supplying specialized components to the power and heavy engineering sectors. BHEL remains one of India’s largest public sector engineering enterprises, and the latest order reflects continued confidence in the manufacturing capabilities of Simplex Castings.

The company also said several domestic and international firms have recently visited its manufacturing facilities in Chhattisgarh to review its casting, fabrication and machining capabilities, which could lead to additional order inflows in the coming months.
