Ola Electric has now started providing test rides of its vehicles which operate on its own in-house battery of 4680 Bharat Cell. This is a new step of the Indian EV market.
S1 Pro+ will be the first model with the new 5.2kWh pack and can now be displayed at flagship locations throughout the country. The new battery system with a greater range, more performance, and improved safety qualifications is the indication of the significant improvement in the premium line of the company.
The battery pack has recently been provided with the ARAI approval according to the revised AIS -156 Amendment 4 standards issued by the ministry of road transport and highways. The certification is an assurance that the 5.2 kWh 4680 Bharat Cell is in compliance with the latest safety and performance requirements in the country.

A spokesperson of the company claimed that drawing of public test rides is a milestone in the EV industry of India. The new technology introduces a distinct advancement in distance, power distribution and protection of the riders. The spokesperson further stated that providing an all-indigenous battery platform is indicative of the brand moving towards technological independence and accelerating the transition by India to cleaner mobility.
The S1 Pro + has a 13kW motor and reaches 40km/h -1 within 2.1 seconds and a DIY mode with a 320km /h -1 IDC range. Riders are provided with four modes Hyper, Sports, Normal, Eco, dual ABS, disc brakes on all ends, comfort additions, including a redesigned seat, new mirrors, an aluminum grab handle, new rim graphics and a broader colour range.
In addition to the S1 series, Ola Electric has the Roadster X line of a motorcycle. This maintains its existence within scooters as well as bikes with various battery options and at a reasonable price.
