MATTER Motor Works, an electric motorcycle base, is planning to spend $100 million (Est. 915 crore) in the next three years on expanding its product range and production capacity.
Group CEO and founder Mohal Lalbhai revealed that the company will launch four new electric bikes and enter the electric scooter market. MATTER achieves the set goal of 3 lakh units per year sales by 2029 and plans to initiate exports by 2027.
The product strategy of the company involves the introduction of motorcycles in the 150cc category and the 125cc category, as well as the company's flagship, AERA, which is already developed. The rollout of the product is anticipated to take the coming several years, where the 150 ccs will be launched in 2026 and the 125 ccs will be released in 2027.

Probably the scooters will be introduced in 2029, once the motorcycles are fully developed. During the 3.0 edition of its Technology Day, MATTER demonstrated its AI-Defined Vehicles (AIDV) platform, which will form the basis of future models.
The platform provides a technology roadmap that is scalable, such as AI-powered hardware, software, and data infrastructure of products that MATTER will design in the future. The company has already put almost 100 million dollars into its ecosystem and is bound to commit the same to the ecosystem within the next three years.
The manufacturing plant in Ahmedabad has a capacity of 1.2 lakh per annum and MATTER will have the second plant as part of its expansion. The dealer network of MATTER will continue to grow very fast as it is projected to have 150 dealerships in 2026 and 500 dealerships in the year 2028. The company is also venturing into the international markets in Africa, Eastern Europe and South America.
