Kinetic India's battery division, Range-X, has launched its first Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery from its cutting-edge Ahilya Nagar factory, marking a significant milestone for the country's electric mobility industry.
The new battery, which satisfies AIS 156 certification requirements, is intended to provide India's expanding EV ecosystem with sustainability, durability, and safety. The first Range-X LFP battery will be utilized in Kinetic India's newly launched Kinetic DX EV, Kinetic India’s electric two-wheeler flagship vehicle and will be used in more electric two- and three-wheeler models in the future.
Using smart Battery Management System (BMS) technology, the battery offers a lifecycle of 2,000 to 3,000 cycles, thermal stability, and an eco-friendly experience.
Advanced Manufacturing for quality and reliability and the Ahilya Nagar facility has a fully automated, IoT-enabled production line that employs POKE-YOKE systems and stage-wise inspections that help ensure accuracy, reliability, and sustainability for every battery produced. The facility demonstrates Kinetic’s commitment to battery solutions that involve high quality, safety, and sustainability.
