Apollo Tyres announced today that its two manufacturing sites in Chennai and Limda (Gujarat) received a 5-star rating conformity to the British Safety Council after a thorough Occupational Health and Safety Audit.
The Audit criteria included Leadership, Engagement of workers, Risk Perception Management, and Continuous improvement of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System. Apollo Tyres exceeded expectations in all four audit areas placing the plants in the global benchmarks for workplace health, safety, and wellbeing.
Rajeev Kumar Sinha, Chief Manufacturing Officer, Apollo Tyres, said the achievement underscores the company's "unwavering commitment to a strong safety culture, where the well-being of people is at the core of everything we do."
