
One of the top producers of textiles in India, RSWM, announced that it has reached a deal with Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL) to deliver 60 MW of renewable energy. This accomplishment highlights "our long-term aim to link growth with sustainability and cement our position as a forward-looking industry leader," according to Riju Jhunjhunwala, Chairman, Managing Director, and CEO of RSWM.
"RSWM continues to set industry norms in responsible energy transition by sourcing 70% of our entire energy requirement from renewable sources well above the national average of India's clean energy mix (31%)," he continued.

Customized energy solutions are provided to bulk electricity customers by AESL's commercial and industrial (C&I) division. Over the next five years, the business wants to have a 7,000 MW C&I portfolio.
