Sigma Adds Rs 1,600 Cr Rolls-Royce Order to Aerospace Portfolio

Sigma Advanced Systems has secured a new long-term agreement worth nearly Rs 1,600 Cr from Rolls-Royce.

The Rolls-Royce order strengthens Sigma’s aerospace business and expands its role in the global aerospace supply chain.

The agreement will be executed through Sigma’s recently acquired UK subsidiary, Bromford Precision Solutions. It follows an earlier Rs 3,800 Cr agreement with Rolls-Royce.

The two agreements together are worth nearly Rs 5,400 Cr. The latest deal also expands Sigma’s range of aerospace components supplied to the global engine maker.

Rolls-Royce Order Covers Critical Aero-Engine Components

Under the new agreement, Bromford Precision Solutions will manufacture critical components for Rolls-Royce aero-engines. Production will take place across Sigma’s manufacturing facilities in India and the UK.

• Lock plates
• Other critical engine structures

The agreement will create a dual-source manufacturing solution for Rolls-Royce. It will also allow Sigma to expand its portfolio of precision-engineered aerospace components. Bromford Acquisition Expands Sigma’s Aerospace Capabilities

The new Rolls-Royce order comes shortly after Sigma completed the acquisition of Bromford Precision Solutions. Sigma acquired 100% of Bromford for nearly Rs 153 Cr.
