Jakson Group launched a Rs 8,000‑crore investment on Sunday to set up a 6 GW integrated solar manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh.
On Sunday, the first phase of the project was laid in it by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. Jakson Group states that in the stage, 3 GW of cell, and 4 GW of manufacturing capacity of solar modules will be developed.
The total strategy will construct 6GW of ingot, wafer, cell and module manufacturing within the three years, and it will generate 4000 new employment opportunities. Phase 1 will involve an estimated investment of Rs 2,000 crore to establish 3GW of cell construction and 4GW of module construction infrastructure, and will create employment to 1,700 people.

According to Yadav, the solar production centre at Maksi will provide skilled employment to our young population and place Maksi as the manufacturing and logistics center of the clean-energy transition of India. He further mentioned that the project reflects on the pro-growth orientation of Madhya Pradesh, talented human resource, and the strong infrastructure, which is in line with national Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision.
Jakson Group Chairman Sameer Gupta expressed the idea that the integrated solar plant will promote technological self-sufficiency at the heart of India and enhance the production capacity of the nation in clean-energy products.
