The INDEX Group with its worldwide technological leading CNC turning machines under the INDEX and TRAUB brands, opened its new branch with an integrated Technology Center in the Aerospace Park, Bangalore, on 27 February 2026. With this step, the company is intensifying its presence in one of the most dynamic industrial markets in Asia. The location, only about 15 minutes from Bangalore Airport, offers ideal conditions for enhanced customer support and fast service response times in the Indian market.
The new branch has office space for sales, technology, application, customer service and administration as well as a spacious showroom with modern demonstration machines. This showroom serves as a meeting place for customer events, test machining, and product presentations and thus represents a significant expansion of the previous offering. Under the leadership of Managing Director Wilson Thomas, INDEX is sending a clear signal of long-term investment in the Indian market and of a strategy focused on customer proximity.
The INDEX Group has been active in India with sales and service for more than 25 years. After the founding of INDEX Machine Tools India Pvt.
