BEML Limited has been awarded a large contract by the Ministry of Defense to supply engines at an approximate of 110 crores.
The order was announced today and this will help BEML Limited gain a stronger foothold as one of the primary players in the Indian indigenous defense manufacturing drive and as a contributor to the Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision of the government.
The agreement entails supplying engines that are constructed with high standards required in defense in terms of performance, reliability, and durability. These engines will be produced in the high-tech production plants of BEML Limited in accordance to the quality assurance and testing standards set by the Ministry of Defense.

The experience in the field of defence, mining, and infrastructure that the company has had over a long period of time has been instrumental in acquiring this order.
