Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang instructed employees to use artificial intelligence as a means to improve all facets of their work. He gave instances of AI usage from coding to product development and insisted that AI should not be considered as a displacement of jobs but rather as a job enabler.
Huang exhorted employees to work with AI to elevate their output and make themselves more efficient, and to be fully aware that automation is there to assist humans, not to replace them.
“I want artificial intelligence to automate every task that can be automated. I guarantee that you will have work to do,” Huang said to employees, as reported by Business Insider. He went on to criticize the resistance within, saying, “As far as I‘m concerned, Nvidia has managers who are telling their staff that they should use AI less. Have you lost your mind?”

Huang’s remarks coincide with the efforts of several large technology companies to have their employees use AI. The use of AI-generated code for new projects is reported to be 30% by both Google and Microsoft, along with Meta and Amazon which are also employing AI tools to enhance productivity.
However, employees have become fearful of being replaced by the companies that have decided to widely adopt the technology. As a result, Amazon has recently announced that it will be cutting about 14,000 corporate jobs initially, with the number of total layoffs possibly eventually reaching 30,000.
