The Rajasthan government is tightening its monitoring of fertiliser availability to protect farmers ahead of a crucial cropping cycle.
Agriculture Minister Kirori Lal Meena said the state is closely tracking daily stock positions and movement of fertilisers to ensure uninterrupted supply and curb unfair practices in the market.
The Rajasthan government has been keeping a close eye on the daily availability of fertilisers in the state and was taking all steps to prevent its hoarding and black marketing, agriculture minister Kirori Lal Meena said. “By identifying districts and blocks with low availability and high consumption, fertilisers are being distributed on a priority basis across the state with complete transparency,” the minister said.

In a bid to support the agricultural economy and safeguard farmers’ interests, the department is focusing on timely distribution of key fertilisers such as urea, DAP and NPK in high-demand regions. “We are also working with utmost vigilance throughout the state to prevent black marketing and hoarding of fertilisers,” Meena said.
Officials are coordinating with dealers, cooperatives and district administrations to monitor stocks, logistics and on-ground delivery. For the benefit of farmers, the state government has decided to ensure the supply of fertilisers, reinforcing its commitment to maintaining adequate inventories during peak sowing periods.
The focus on transparent distribution, prevention of hoarding and sustained fertiliser supply is expected to stabilise the input market, enhance crop planning, and support Rajasthan’s broader agricultural growth.
