On May 6, 2026, Waaree Energy’s wholly owned step-down subsidiary, Waaree Forever Energies Four, signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd for developing a 300MWh wind project in Dwaraka, Gujarat.
Waaree Energies stated that the development is in furtherance of the earlier intimation dated February 24, 2026, indicating that the project has been in development for months.
This 300 MWh wind project marks a significant milestone in India’s vision to expand its renewable energy infrastructure to accelerate wind and solar energy capacity for its clean energy future.
This project is a part of SECL’s wind energy procurement programme and will be developed in Gujarat and would be connected to other states through the interstate transmission system. This project expects to strengthen renewable energy requirements across multiple states through the interstate transmission system.

Dwaraka, situated on the western coastline of Gujarat, is one of its richest wind zones. Dwaraka’s coastal geography, with its high velocity winds, makes it an optimal site for wind energy development.
Long term PPA’s are considered vital for India’s renewable energy development as they help in supporting project finances. This deal reflects India’s effort to strengthen its wind energy sector.
Meanwhile, Waarsee Energies delivered an outstanding performance on the financial front, reporting revenue of Rs 8,840.25 Cr for Q4 FY26. The revenue saw a surge of 111.8 percent compared to last year, and the profit after tax for the quarter rose by 74.76 percent at Rs 1,1126.26. Total revenue from operations rose to Rs ₹26,536.77 Cr from Rs 14,444 Cr of the previous year.
