Mahindra Group has also announced it will spend Rs 15,000 crore in Maharashtra within a span of ten years, indicating a significant growth in its manufacturing process. This huge investment shall involve the construction of a modern automobile and tractor factory in Nagpur.
The Nagpur plant will be the largest integrated manufacturing facility in the group as soon as it gets up and running with an amazing yearly production of more than 5 lakh vehicles and 1 lakh tractors. The plant will start manufacturing in 2028 and will be critical in enhancing the presence of Mahindra in India.
Besides the Nagpur plant, Mahindra will purchase land in the Igatpuri-Nashik area so as to increase its available product and engine production capabilities. This will also help in the development of the Mahindra Advanced Technology business, which will increase the overall manufacturing capacity and technology of the company.

"With these initiatives, Mahindra is committing a comprehensive investment of Rs 15,000 crore over a ten-year period in Maharashtra and will acquire over 2,000 acres across three locations to further strengthen its manufacturing footprint," the company stated.
The company announced it during the Advantage Vidarbha event, a three-day flagship program to make the Vidarbha region of India a developing industrial growth hub.
This strategic move shows that Mahindra is still interested in giving back to the state economy, providing employment, and improving its manufacturing and technology capabilities in the Indian economy.
It is hoped that the new manufacturing presence will lead to innovation and cement the leadership of Mahindra in the automobile and tractor markets.
