He was Chairman of ASME, B31.8 International Working Group India (2009 to 2019) and Chairman of Pipeline System Division (PSD), Houston for 2024- 2025. He is also a Global Trainer for ASME B31.8 and B31.8S. He has presented many technical topics at national and international conferences.
He received the best paper award from PESO/CCOE(GOI) for Pipeline Integrity Management – Prevention of Failures. He was facilitated with an international award by ASME for Dedicated Service Award for the year 2021 for his excellent contribution for Pipeline Industry and for outstanding performance, demonstrated effective leadership.
