Danfoss India, a pioneer in the energy-efficient solutions, introduced the new energy-efficient iC7 Hybrid Series at the 24 th CII Energy Efficiency Summit in the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC). The event was hosted by the Confederation of Indian Industry -Green Business Centre (CII-GBC), and it was a display of the latest technologies with the purpose of developing sustainability and net-zero in India.
The iC7 Hybrid Series is a new variable frequency drive (VFD) that is developed to maximize efficient energy consumption through HVAC, water treatment, and industrial machinery industries. It is designed to work with hybrid energy systems and it is easy to integrate with renewable sources of energy decreasing carbon gas emissions and improving operational efficiency. The series has an effective level of cybersecurity and modular scalability, which makes it an effective product in the modern industrial use.
Ravichandran Purushothaman, President of Danfoss India and Chairman of the CII Energy Efficiency Council, emphasized the significance of the launch: “The iC7 Hybrid Series represents a leap forward in supporting India’s decarbonization journey. This decade is critical for global sustainability, and our solutions are designed to drive energy efficiency and green transition in Indian industries.”
The summit, which was held between September 16-18, had a special pavilion featuring 25 low-carbon technologies, in which Danfuss played a leading role. This was also accompanied by the 26 th CII National Award of Excellence in Energy Management whereby more than 200 companies were rewarded in their contribution to sustainable practices. Moreover, a seminar on renewable energy technologies and a B2B session with the Australian startups provided a focus on the joint work in the direction of the innovations.
