As industries scale up production, the challenge of controlling dust, fumes, gases, and process emissions has become increasingly complex. Air Pollution Control (APC) is no longer limited to meeting regulatory requirements; it is closely linked to energy efficiency, worker safety, operational continuity, and the broader sustainability agenda of manufacturers. Industries such as steel, foundry, cement, aluminium, chemicals, plastics, rubber, glass, and automotive require systems that can manage demanding applications without compromising productivity.
Amid this, Neoairtech India Pvt. Ltd. has built its position around engineering APC systems that combine international filtration technologies with application-specific design. Established in 2012 in collaboration with German conglomerate Munstermann + Neotechnik, Germany, the company has developed an installation base of more than 1,000 systems across India and international markets. Its approach centres on delivering high-efficiency filtration while making advanced technology commercially viable for industrial customers.
From Global Exposure to an Indian Engineering Enterprise
Neoairtech’s journey has been shaped by the experience of its Managing Director, Mr. Srinath M.R., who brings more than 35 years of experience in air pollution control. An M.Tech. professional, Mr. Srinath has worked with global APC technologies and headed the filtration division of a Danish multinational for over a decade before taking charge as National Sales Manager of a Swedish multinational, where he was responsible for its P&L and helped establish its Indian operations.
His exposure across Germany, China, Thailand, Egypt, Africa, and other markets has given him a practical understanding of diverse filtration applications. This experience eventually translated into the creation of Neoairtech, founded on the idea of bringing global engineering practices to Indian industries without making advanced solutions prohibitively expensive.
Today, Neoairtech operates a four-acre manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Bengaluru, with in-house manufacturing, quality control, material-handling infrastructure, ERP-controlled stores, engineering, projects, supply chain, and other functions. The company is ISO 9001 and ZED Gold certified and has been recognized with the MSME Excellence Award 2022 and FKCCI Best Manufacturer Exporter – Small Category Gold Award 2024.
Scaling Capability Through Application- Focused Engineering
Neoairtech’s growth over the past five years reflects both market acceptance and a widening technical capability.
Between 2021 and 2026, the company recorded approximately 300 percent business growth, supported by year-on-year growth of 30–35 percent. Its systems have evolved from handling airflow capacities of around 150,000 m³/hr to solutions capable of managing up to 1.5 million m³/hr.
More importantly, the company has expanded its ability to address difficult, industry-specific applications. A specially developed filtration solution for a plastics manufacturer, for instance, was designed to handle long PVC strands generated during threading and cutting. In the tyre industry, Neoairtech successfully commissioned a system for carbon black and acid fumes, while its tobacco-sector solution addresses process dust for one of the world’s largest Japanese cigarette manufacturers.
“The company has also supplied around 58 stainless-steel filters for paint-powder handling / venting applications and executed a comprehensive de-dusting system covering an entire glass manufacturing plant. Such projects demonstrate Neoairtech’s emphasis on engineering around the process rather than simply supplying standard filtration equipment”, shares Srinath M.R., Director.
Efficiency, Connectivity and Cleaner Workspaces
Energy performance has become another important dimension of Neoairtech’s technology development. Through a new association with a Taiwanese technology partner, the company is working with ceramic-fibre filtration technology for high temperature applications of up to 800°C. The technology is designed to improve filtration while reducing energy consumption, potentially contributing to customers’ carbonreduction objectives.
Neoairtech’s next phase is centered on taking this application driven approach into newer industries and technologies
“Neoairtech has also incorporated Industry 4.0, IoT, remote connectivity, and advanced automation into its systems. Mobile interfaces and remote monitoring are intended to improve equipment visibility and reduce service response time. Artificial Intelligence is another area the company is actively pursuing as it evaluates how intelligent systems can enhance customer support and equipment performance”, says Srinath M.R.
Its R&D efforts extend to filtration media as well. Specially treated fabrics have been adopted to deliver more consistent filtration and lower emissions, with designs aligned to European norms. The company has also developed compact, self-contained low-emission filtration units that can be installed within shop floors, enabling cleaner internal air through recirculation while improving workplace ventilation. This solution is centered around creating cleaner & greener shop floors for workers with IOT / Industry 4.0 / AI enabled de-dusting systems.
Building the Next Phase of APC Leadership
Neoairtech’s next phase is centered on taking this applicationdriven approach into newer industries and technologies. The company is exploring opportunities in food, pharmaceuticals, and semiconductor manufacturing, where process purity and stringent emission controls demand increasingly sophisticated filtration systems. Its focus remains on adopting Best Available Technology and aligning solutions with evolving European norms rather than waiting for regulations to catch up.
Geographically, the company is strengthening its presence beyond India, with installations and market development across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Africa, and South Africa. Regional leadership across the West, North, and East of India is further supporting its domestic expansion.
For Neoairtech, recognition as a Top Company in Air Pollution Control Solutions 2026 is therefore not simply an accolade. It reinforces a larger responsibility- to make industrial air pollution control more efficient, reliable, and accessible while helping customers create cleaner workplaces and reduce energy consumption. With its continuing investment in technology, engineering capability, connectivity, and international markets, Neoairtech is positioning itself around a clear proposition: German technology at local price, engineered for the realities of Indian industry and built to compete globally.
